The Releases
Extraction & transformation of the data sets is via the packages of repository https://github.com/vetiveria/spots. The package directories & data, referenced herein, are relative to the spots repository.

The toxic releases data sets encoded by TRI_RELEASE_QTY are the total on-site disposal or other releases data values. In a nutshell, it is comparable with the on-site totals w.r.t. EPA TRI Explorer Release Facility. For example the

is equivalent to the totals per (REPORTING_YEAR, TRI_FACILITY_ID, TRI_CHEM_ID) encoded by URL

The data sets herein are the reference data sets that explain the identifiers within each toxic release data set.
